Personalized organization
Organize specialty-diet meals around the person
A label such as kidney, diabetes, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, weight loss, more energy, or body building does not describe every person’s needs. Meal Planner 101 provides separate planning workspaces while keeping personal choices central.
Start with the goal
Choose the planning program that matches the current goal or medical guidance.
Record meaningful details
Use accurate ingredients, brands, portions, preparation methods, and clinician-provided limits.
Review the complete plan
Consider the whole day and week rather than judging foods only by their names.
Medical and preference-based plans are different
Some pathways reflect food preferences, while others relate to diagnosed health conditions. Medical meal planning should remain connected to the treating physician, registered dietitian, or other qualified clinician. Meal Planner 101 is an organization tool and does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace individualized care.
Make the plan usable
A technically perfect plan is not helpful if the user cannot prepare, afford, obtain, or enjoy the food. Save suitable meals, use realistic preparation times, and build grocery lists from the foods that will actually be eaten.
